News from Lynn Wyatt-Buchan - Chair of Kingham Primary School Association - about the upcoming COMMOTION09 event.

"We are organising our 4th fund raising music festival COMMOTION09.
COMMOTION09 will take place on the schools playing field on Saturday 06th June and will feature a Battle of the Bands competition (Rock Idol) (2-4pm) a brilliant opportunity for young musicians to showcase their talents in front of a judging panel to include Alex James (Blur!) & top producer Steve Lipson. The main event 4pm - 10pm will see performances from ABBA Gold & Beverley Craven plus local bands to include the ever popular Red Hand Gang and will also be packed with family fun, music and entertainment. Music workshops with Umbanda Band (extremely popular and fun drumming), clowns, pony rides, bouncy castle, fire-eaters & much more. All proceeds go to Kingham Primary School Music Fund. A percentage of profits also go to CLIC Sargent.

This is a charitable event organised & run by parents of children at the school.
